Which would you rather be trapped in the Battle Bots arena with...

Backlash

OR

Frenzy?

 

Details:

  • You ever watch Battle Bots? If not then this might not be the question for you.
  • Just kidding. Ever WWYRBTW question is for everybody.
    • Backlash is 55 pounds, probably about 2 feet tall, with a spinning vertical blade like a pizza cutter. It's not sharp but it has little shrapnels on it.
    • I don't know how much frenzy weighs but it's a whole lot more than 55 pounds. He's a round base with a big, long hammer on it that can slam back and forth really fast.
  • I was going to use Mauler, but he seems much more dangerous to humans than other bots.
  • You are armed with a big piece of re-bar in both cases.

Comments: My decision was pretty much an arbitrary one, since I have never watched Battlebots (although I have been invited to watch it numerous times--thank you Kevin and Cliver). However, I remember that one Chip & Dale cartoon always scared me--the one where they get trapped in the sawmill and almost get sawed in half. I think that particular cartoon scarred me as a child, so I'd much rather deal with that big hammer thing than the spinning blade thing.

Comments: hmmmmm, this is a difficult one. I've gotta go with Frenzy though, because I'm partial to Backlash and wouldn't want to hurt it (him? her?) with my oh-so-powerful bare hands. Oh yeah.

Plus it's a lot easier to pin down Frenzy's arm with the rebar than it would be to stop Backlash's blade... Or maybe you could use the rebar to construct

Comments: Seems like if Frenzy's all slow and such (given that he weighs a whole lot more than 55 pounds), I'd be better equipped to outrun the big dude. Or maybe i could sit on him.

Comments: This is probably my least informed reply to a Keudy question ever. That "pizza cutter" thing just doesn't strike any fear in me at all. In fact, I laugh every time I see that thing spinning around.

Comments: Although Backlash is my favorite bot, he is so because he is
the underdog in a lot of cases. re bar is pretty tough and i think he'd chew on it for just a few seconds before his spinning wheel of death lost its momentum. once that happens he will be my hapless victim (but how could i stay mad at you, Backlash!)

Comments: I believe I could avoid Frenzy's hammer by simply distracting the drivers with my cunning and dexterity. Besides, I never liked my toes anyway.

Comments: I'd chose Backlash because 'B' comes before 'F' in the alphabet. They both seem pretty dangerous, so that was the deciding factor for me.
